Erst ihrer Tochter und dann ihrem Mann. Jetzt ist sie alle zusammen im Himmel.
Trotzdem ist sehr schade, dass sie nicht mehr auf den Welt ist.
Aber wir werden sie nie vergessen und bleiben im unseren Herzen.

Jetzt ist sie bei ihrer Familie und muss nicht leiden. Man gönnt es diese Frau, die so Schlimmes durchgemacht hat ..

Sie sei im Alter von 74 Jahren nach langer Krankheit gestorben, sagte ein Sprecher des Bayerischen Rundfunks - Schürmanns langjähriger Arbeitgeber - auf ddp Anfrage. Nach Informationen der Münchner "Abendzeitung" starb Schürmann in der Nacht zum Donnerstag im Münchner Klinikum Großhadern.

Ihre Karriere hatte 1956 begonnen, als sie als Studentin bei einem Schönheitswettbewerb zur "Miss World" gekürt wurde. Seit Mitte der 60er Jahre arbeitete Schürmann beim Bayerischen Fernsehen. Bis zum Jahr 2000 trat sie allein für ARD und ZDF rund 600 Mal als Moderatorin auf.Ein schwerer Schicksalsschlag traf Schürmann, als ihre Tochter Alexandra im Juni 2001 bei einem durch einen Geisterfahrer verursachten Unfall starb. Auch körperlich von der Tragödie gezeichnet, zog Schürmann sich in der Folge zunehmend aus der Öffentlichkeit zurück. Im August 2008 erlag ihr Ehemann Gerhard Freund einem Krebsleiden.
